This privacy statement was most recently amended on 14 October 2022.
Inventum Technologies B.V. ("Inventum" or "We") provides an application (the "App") that allows consumers to view and control the indoor environment of their homes anytime, anywhere. We process your personal data because you use Inventum's App. Your privacy is very important to Us. We therefore adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").
Our privacy and cookie statement in brief
Our processing of personal data is in accordance with privacy laws. This means that We:
- Clearly define Our purposes in this privacy cookie statement before processing your personal data.
- Store as little personal data as possible and solely the data necessary for Our purposes.
- Obtain your explicit consent for the processing of your personal data, should consent be required.
- Take the requisite security measures to protect your personal data. We also impose these obligations on parties who process personal data for Us.
- Respect your rights, such as the right to inspect, correct or delete your personal data processed with Us.
For what purposes do We use your personal data?
We obtain a range of personal data from you when you use Our App. For each purpose, We indicate what data We obtain from you,
for what purpose We process it and for how long We keep it. If you have any questions or want to know exactly which of your personal data We maintain,
please contact Inventum. See the bottom of this privacy and cookie statement for Our contact details.
App Store or Google Play Store
To use the App, you need to download it. You can do this either through the App Store or the Google Play Store.
We have no control over the personal data that the relevant provider (Apple or Google) processes or the purposes
for which it does so. We therefore recommend that you read the relevant provider's privacy and cookie statements.
Creating an account and using the App
You can create an account in Our App. To do so, you must first register with an email address and a password of your choosing. After you have registered, you can log in with your account and access the App. This processing is therefore necessary in order for the agreement to be performed. You can also log in using your Google or Facebook account.

We process the following personal data in this regard:
- Account details
- Email address
- Password
- IP address
We will keep your personal data until you cancel your account or for up to two years after you last logged into it. We will then assume that you no longer wish to use our services.
Contact
If you have any questions or comments about Our App, please contact Us directly. You can contact Us in various different ways: by telephone,
by using the contact form or by email.
We process the following personal data in this regard:
- First name(s) and surname
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Log-in details
- Customer number
- Address details (postcode and town/city)
- Any information you yourself enter as the content of a message
We do this to ensure proper processing of your request for Us to contact you and in order to perform the agreement with you in this regard.
We keep this information until We are sure that you are satisfied with Our response.
When may We share your personal data with third parties?
Inventum only shares your data with third parties when We are allowed to do so under current legislation. We may disclose your personal data to third parties because:
- we have engaged them to process certain data;
- we have a statutory basis for doing so;
- we are required to do so by law (for example, if the police demand it in the event of a suspected crime).
The parties that process personal data on Our or your behalf are:
- IT suppliers and service providers
- Hosting parties
- Identity provider
In order to provide these services, Inventum may disclose your personal data to parties located outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Inventum only does so if there is an adequate level of protection for the processing of personal data.
Security of your personal data
Inventum endeavours to take appropriate technical and organisational measures with regard to data processing activities in order to protect such data from loss or any form of unlawful processing (e.g. unauthorised access, corruption, alteration or disclosure of personal data).
Cookies
We use Our own as well as third-party cookies in the App. Cookies are information files that can be automatically stored on or read from a website visitor's device (e.g. PC, tablet or smartphone).
This is done through the device's web browser.
These cookies collect the following data from you:
- IP address
- Cookie ID
- Website and click behaviour
- Referrer-URL
We display a message explaining cookies when you visit Our online service for the first time.
In it, We ask for your consent to the use of cookies to the extent we are required to do so.
We currently use no cookies.
Deleting cookies
Most cookies have an expiry date. The cookie is then automatically deleted on the expiry date. You can also opt to delete cookies manually before they expire.

What are your privacy rights?
If you have any questions or want to know which of your personal data We are holding, please feel free to contact Us.
You have the following rights:
- Right of access: you have the right to inspect your personal data that We process.
- Right to rectification: you have the right to correct or supplement your personal data that We process if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Right of objection: you may object to the processing of your personal data as well as to direct marketing.
- Right of deletion: you may ask Us to delete your personal data.
- Right to withdraw your consent: if you have consented to Our processing your personal data, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
- Right to data portability: if technically possible, you have the right to have your personal data that We process transferred to a third party.
- Right to restriction of processing: in some cases, you can ask Us to restrict (temporarily or otherwise) the processing of your personal data.
We may then ask you to identify yourself. We request data in this regard in order to ensure that you are indeed the person to whom the personal data belongs.
In principle, We will then assess your request and process it within one month. However, We may extend this deadline by two months for reasons related to your
specific privacy rights or the complexity of your request. If We extend this deadline, We will notify you in a timely manner.

Amendments to this privacy and cookie statement
If there is any change to Our services, We will naturally need to update our privacy and cookie statement as well.
Therefore, please check this privacy and cookie statement regularly to ascertain the most up-to-date information.
Complaints
If you feel that We are not doing enough to help you with questions about your privacy, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority.
In the Netherlands, that's the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
